What makes rPlans different from a generic POS?

It is built around the car. Vehicle capture, returning-vehicle history and membership benefits are part of checkout, and the same platform runs your memberships, bookings, phone agent, marketing and reporting.

Can the register recognize members?

Yes. Staff can scan the plate with the tablet camera, look it up by plate or VIN, or scan the member’s card. Active plans show up at checkout with their benefit ready to apply, and returning vehicles bring back their visit history.

Which payment methods does the register take?

Stripe card readers (including a Bluetooth reader paired with the Android register tablet), tap to pay, a QR code the customer pays on their own phone, cash, split tender, and an "other" tender with a note. Receipts go out by email, refunds run from the order, and signatures can be captured on the customer’s phone by QR.

How do coupons and discounts work?

Up to four coupons can stack on one ticket and are always applied in the same order. A coupon can be limited to inventory categories or to account holders, members or fleet accounts, and account pricing can apply discounts automatically.

Can we run fleet and commercial accounts?

Yes. Fleet accounts keep primary and backup cards on file or charge later. Charge-later tickets land in a Fleet Receivables ledger that you can settle offline, and staff can find fleet vehicles from a dedicated tab at the register.

How is inventory handled?

Items can be tracked with stock levels, low-stock thresholds, audit counts with variance and valuation. Cost of goods is captured on every completed order, and you decide whether the register may sell an item that shows out of stock.

How do we open and close the day?

Staff stamp the store open and closed, record paid outs from the till, and finish with an end-of-day closeout that compares counted cash to expected and is signed off by a named employee with their PIN.

Does it work across multiple locations?

Yes. Owners work in an admin console that rolls up every store, staff work in their location workspace, and all 30+ reports filter by location and export to CSV and PDF.
